Lowlands single malt with ex-Bourbon, Amontillado & PX maturation – limited chapter release
The third addition to Lindores Abbey's Friar John Cor – Cask Strength Congregation series celebrates its historic roots with a modern twist. Crafted with an eye for balance, the spirit is matured in ex-bourbon barrels , Amontillado, and PX sherry butts , before being blended and matured in refill sherry butts for added cohesion and depth. This limited edition is bottled at a natural 60.2% ABV, without chill-filtration or colouring.
Tribute to Friar John Cor who in 1494 made the first record of Scotch whisky coming from Lindores Abbey.
