Tullibardine is situated at the foot of the Ochil Hills, where pure spring water from the Danny Burn stream is used — the same water that was once used for brewing beer in the 15th century.
🕰️ History and Legacy
The distillery was founded in 1949 on the site of an old brewery dating back to 1488, where even King James IV once bought beer. After several changes of ownership, Tullibardine came under independent family control in 2011, with a focus on quality and maturation.
⚗️ Production and Philosophy
Tullibardine produces fruity Highland single malts, matured in a wide variety of casks—from bourbon to port and sauternes. The distillery operates completely independently and bottles everything on-site.
