Hyde Irish Whiskey is named after Douglas Hyde, the first president of Ireland, as a tribute to Irish independence. The Hyde family has been active in the Irish spirits trade since 1640.
The modern bottler focuses on perfecting small batch whiskeys from carefully selected distilleries.

Hyde sources matured Irish whiskey from renowned distilleries and then matures it in unique casks: rum, sherry, Madeira, and even Burgundy casks.
All bottles are bottled non-chill filtered, often at a higher strength, to retain the full character.
