Founded in 1897 by Alexander Edward, who also ran Benrinnes, the distillery was a core spirit in Dewar's blends for decades, but recently gained the attention it deserves with the Dewar's Last Great Malts series.
⚗️ Production and Philosophy
Aultmore uses unpeated barley, open-air condensers, and slow distillation for an exceptionally clean spirit. The water comes from the Foggie Moss spring, renowned for its purity.
