Founded in 1897 by William Williams & Sons Ltd., Glendullan later became part of Diageo. In 1972, a new distillery was built next to the original, which has since handled all production.

The distillery produces a light, fruity spirit often used in the Singleton range (as The Singleton of Glendullan). The whisky is matured in a mix of bourbon and sherry casks for a balanced, accessible style.
