Glenfiddich is a global icon β a family-run distillery that defined the single malt category.
π°οΈ History and Legacy
Founded in 1887 by William Grant and still family-owned, Glenfiddich was the first distillery to promote single malt as a separate category worldwide in 1963. Today, it is one of the best-selling single malts in the world.
βοΈ Production and Philosophy
The distillery uses its own spring water from Robbie Dhu Springs and 32 copper-framed stills. Glenfiddich produces a light, pure spirit with precision. The whisky matures in bourbon, sherry, and wine casks, often in its own solera cask system.
