Rum-soaked raisins, thick syrup on pancakes, warm apple cake, and vanilla custard. With a little air, notes of aged leather, nutmeg, and brown sugar emerge.
Full and rich, with cherry compote, rum-baked pears, and dark Demerara sugar. Then comes buttery toffee, cake batter, and a hint of tropical fruit, framed by soft oak spices.
Long and warming: molasses, light rum esteriness, spicy oak and some raisin/cherry linger pleasantly.
