Maritime Speyside single malt from Benrinnes, bottled as Thalassa Whisky by King Cask (Dam Dranken). This 9-year-old whisky was first matured in Scotland and then given a further 6 months of dynamic aging on deck of the Tallship Thalassa , in a first-fill ex-rum quarter cask . Bottled at 55.3% ABV , with natural color , non-chill filtered , and limited to 181 bottles . Expect rum raisins, syrupy pancakes, apple cake, and vanilla custard, followed by cherry, dark candy, and spicy oak on the finish.
