This bottling will be presented for the first time during the Hielander 2026 festival and marks a special collaboration between Whisky Import Nederland and De Whisky Specialist .
The whisky will make its Dutch debut during the festival, courtesy of Whisky Import Nederland . We are honored to be involved as a partner.
The whisky was crafted with care and patience, with a clear focus on quality and provenance. Golden Promise barley and Laureate barley were used, a classic barley variety known for its full-bodied and rich character. Maturation took place exclusively in first-fill sherry and bourbon casks , allowing the distillate maximum interaction with the wood and allowing it to develop in peace.
This bottling wasn't designed for a quick release, but rather for a timely release. The official release is expected in mid-March on the Dutch market.

Aberargie is a modern farm distillery with old-fashioned ambitions: from barley to bottle, all on their own farm — with a house style that aims for rich, fruity and subtly "waxy".
🕰️ History and Legacy
Aberargie was founded in 2017 by the Morrison family (Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers), marking their return to distilling after decades of focusing on bottling and branding. The distillery is located on their 300-acre family farm just outside Perth.
⚗️ Production and Philosophy
This is a true "barley-to-bottle" operation: locally sourced barley, distillation, and further processing all under one roof. The distillery promotes a style that is rich, fruity, and waxy, with the occasional peated (smoky) run for variety. Note: Not open to the public.
🍯 Flavor Profile and Style
Expect a full, rounded style with ripe stonefruit/orchard fruit, creamy graininess, and that signature waxy texture; some releases can also offer a subtle smokiness.
