The distillery was founded in 2014 by the Macpherson-Grant family, owners of the historic Ballindalloch Estate. Their goal: a return to "slow whisky"—small-scale production, local barley, and maximum attention to quality.
⚗️ Production and Philosophy
Ballindalloch produces just 100,000 liters annually. Everything is done by hand, from grinding the malt to filling the casks. The whisky is matured exclusively in first-fill bourbon casks and reflects pure Speyside elegance.
