📍 Islands, Scotland - distillery undisclosed
A single malt from an undisclosed distillery in the Scottish Islands (excluding Islay), such as Orkney, Skye, Mull, Arran or Jura. Independent bottlers use this designation when the distillery does not allow its name to be disclosed on the label.

🔍 Why "undisclosed"?
Distilleries sometimes sell casks on the condition that their name is not mentioned. The bottler then only indicates the origin by region — in this case, the Islands. The whisky is usually a single malt from one distillery.

🌍 How to recognise an Island whisky?
The Islands (Orkney, Skye, Mull, Arran, Jura, Lewis) do not form an official region but share a distinct maritime DNA. Recognisable by sea salt, pepper, spice and a varying smoky note from the balanced honeyed smoke of Highland Park (Orkney) to the pungent peppery smoke of Talisker (Skye). Additionally, often heather, honey and a fresh sea breeze. In terms of intensity, the style lies between the softer Highlands and the distinctly smoky Islay.
