Rich and fragrant: apricot jam, golden raisins, and honeycomb, with orange blossom, sultanas, and toasted almonds. Later, dried mango, baking spices, and a hint of ginger syrup emerge – a clear dessert wine influence, yet beautifully integrated.
Full and silky smooth at cask strength. A wave of dried apricot, honey malt, and caramelized pear gives way to spicy orange, hazelnut, and a touch of resinous oak. The Tokaji offers notes of sweet dessert wine, candied fruit, baked apple, and a hint of crème brûlée crust.
Long and layered: honeyed apricots, toffee and light oak spice linger, followed by sultanas, ginger warmth and a final hint of tropical fruit syrup.
