This Inchgower 13 Years Old comes from the renowned Old Malt Cask series by Hunter Laing: single cask bottlings that are deliberately kept pure — non-chill filtered and without added colouring. Inchgower is known among enthusiasts as a Speysider with a little extra excitement: often a beautiful mix of orchard fruit and citrus, with a lightly salty/"coastal" accent and a drier, spicy structure.
At 13 years old, this results in a whisky that is both lively and drinkable, yet layered enough to remain interesting: think vanilla and biscuit, fresh citrus notes, subtle minerality, and a clean, dry finish.
