The Sakurao Single Malt comes from the Sakurao Distillery in Hatsukaichi, Hiroshima – a modern Japanese distillery that delicately combines tradition and innovation. This expression is fully matured on the coast of the Seto Inland Sea , where the salty sea air and mild climate contribute to a unique maturation dynamic.
The whisky is produced in small batches using only local malt and matured in a combination of sherry, bourbon, and mizunara casks . The result is a characterful single malt with Japanese elegance and a deep aromatic profile.
