Bright barley and honey, green apple and pear, lemon zest, vanilla fudge, and a hint of floral honey. Beneath that, a waxy note and a touch of minerality, like wet pebbles after rain.
Full and oily with a powerful cask strength. Barley sugar, ripe pears, and Granny Smith follow with vanilla, almond, and toffee. Spices build: white pepper, ginger, and a pinch of nutmeg. A hint of umami/meaty that's so typical of Benrinnes. With a few drops of water, more citrus and soft vanilla emerge.
Long and warming, dry-spicy with white pepper, beeswax, grapefruit zest and a hint of oak resin.
