Càrn Mòr is the label of the Morrison family, one of Scotland's oldest whisky families. After the sale of Morrison Bowmore Distillers, Brian and Jamie Morrison started anew, with their own distillery in Aberargie and a range of independent bottlings. The Strictly Limited series revolves around small batches, where the differences between casks are precisely celebrated.
Caol Ila is the largest distillery on Islay and is located on the Sound of Islay, with views of Jura. This single cask Caol Ila from 2012 matured for fourteen years in an Oloroso sherry butt and was bottled in 2026 at 52.1%, with natural colour and without chill filtration. The cask yielded 456 bottles. The combination creates a beautiful interplay between peat smoke and dark, dried fruit.
