Maritime Speyside single malt from Benrinnes, bottled as Thalassa Whisky. This 9 year old whisky first matured in Scotland and then received a further 6 months of “dynamic ageing” on deck of the Tallship Thalassa . There it was exposed to sea, wind and temperature differences, which further enhanced the influence of the cask. Matured in a first fill Pedro Ximénez quarter cask , bottled at 54.4% ABV, with natural colour and without chill-filtration , in an edition of only 169 bottles .
