Caol Ila 9 Year Old – Barbados Rum Finish – Douglas Laing

Warm peat smoke with a surprising tropical side. Ripe banana and soft cane sugar emerge, followed by salty sea air, vanilla, and a hint of toasted oak.

Full and lively, with earthy peat smoke as a sturdy base. Caramelised banana and tropical sweetness from the rum cask provide a beautiful contrast, while saltiness, soft vanilla, and dark caramel add extra depth.

Long and warming. Smoke and sea salt remain present, with slowly fading notes of caramelized tropical fruit, toffee, and lightly toasted oak.
