This Glen Elgin 30 Years Old comes from the prestigious Old & Rare – Platinum Selection by Hunter Laing. Distilled in May 1992 and bottled in May 2022, after three decades of maturation in a refill bourbon barrel. This type of cask allows the whisky to retain its distillery character, with elegant wood influence rather than overpowering sweetness.

Glen Elgin is known for a soft, fruity, and slightly waxy Speyside style. In this 30-year-old expression, this comes to the fore beautifully: honey, ripe apple, pear, vanilla, citrus oil, and polished oak, complemented by subtle spices and a refined, long finish. Bottled at natural cask strength (53.5%) and traditionally un-chill filtered, allowing the whisky to retain its full texture and aromatic depth.
