Bright citrus and grapefruit, juicy raisins and grape (even a hint of “grape bubblegum”), with light red fruit (strawberry), vanilla and wet stone/minerality – like standing by a riverbed with a glass of fruity whisky in hand.
Medium-bodied, fresh, and rich. Grapefruit juice, lemon, and green apple give way to shortcrust pastry, burnt caramel, treacle cake, and vanilla, with a hint of peppery oak. The sherry butt adds raisins and a soft nuttiness without overpowering the bourbon freshness.
Medium to long, with lingering citrus bitters, sweet malt, light sherry notes, and dry oak. Elegant and refreshing, typical Lowland, but noticeably more complex than average.
