Turntable Spirits is a blending house from Glasgow, founded by brothers Ally and Gordon Stevenson. They combine their love of whisky and music: every blend is a 'track' with its own title. They work in small batches, mature their blends together for at least three months, and always bottle with natural colour and without chill filtration.
Track 08, Black Betty, is a rich, fruity blend with Speyside as its base and a hint of coastal smoke from Islay. The whisky was finished for over twenty months in Ruby Port hogsheads, adding extra depth and sweetness, while the smoke continues to provide balance. Bottled at 52.5%.
A great choice for anyone looking for a blend with character: fruity, sweet, and with just enough smoke to keep things interesting.
