🕰️ History and Legacy
The distillery opened in 2017 in the former Pumphouse building, dating from 1877, which was once part of the famous Queen's Dock. Clydeside marks the return of whisky production to Glasgow city center after more than a century.
⚗️ Production and Philosophy
The Clydeside produces a light, fruity Lowland-style whisky using Scottish barley and pure Loch Katrine water. Everything is done in small batches with artisanal precision and transparency—visitors can follow the entire process in the open distillery.
