Blended Scotch · Schotland
Surprisingly smooth and elegant. Aromas of dried fruit, subtle peat smoke, old bookcase, orange peel, light beeswax, and a hint of spice (cloves, cinnamon). A soft malt base underpins the whole with notes of honey and grains.
Full and smooth for a blend. Lightly smoky with a creamy texture, notes of stewed apple, caramelized sugar, malt, aged sherry notes, and a touch of leather. The grain component is refined and harmoniously integrated – none of the sharpness you find in more modern versions.
Medium to long, with lingering hints of smoke, oak, and dried orange. Gently drying with a slightly spicy finish.
