Kilchoman Loch Gorm 2026

Rich sherry notes, dark chocolate and powerful peat smoke form the heart of Kilchoman's annual Loch Gorm release. This beloved limited edition demonstrates every year how well oloroso sherry casks pair with the characteristic, farm-distilled spirit from the Islay distillery.

The Loch Gorm 2026 Edition matured entirely in carefully selected oloroso sherry casks from the renowned Spanish bodega José Miguel Martin. A combination of sherry butts and hogsheads creates a whisky with great depth, in which rich fruit notes, spicy chocolate, and burnt sugar tones beautifully meld with the characteristic Kilchoman smoke.

The name Loch Gorm refers to Islay's largest freshwater loch, located close to the distillery. The dark, peat-colored water of the loch inspires this annual bottling, which has now become a firm favorite among lovers of sherry-matured Islay whisky.

A powerful and layered Kilchoman in which smoke, sherry, and fruit perfectly balance each other.
