Arran 12 Year Old – Old Particular – Douglas Laing

Exuberantly tropical, with ripe mango and papaya leading the way. Soft vanilla and creamy buttercream give the fruit a full, almost dessert-like sweetness.

Juicy and mouth-filling. Ripe apricots and tropical fruit are enveloped by soft cream and vanilla, underpinned by a refined hint of barley malt and light oak.

Long and fruity, with the tropical character lingering beautifully. Towards the end, soft vanilla, malty notes, and a subtle hint of charred oak emerge.
