Glasgow 2015 – North Star

This 10-year-old Glasgow single malt from North Star Spirits is a distinctive and experimental bottling, in which cask maturation plays a central role. Distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2026, this whisky matured in a special French oak cask that previously held old Merlot from Margaux, originating from the renowned Château Palmer.

With only 6 bottles available, this is an extremely limited release. The influence of the wine cask gives the whisky a rich and fruit-driven character, where dark berries, spice, and a soft woody texture beautifully combine with the fresh, light profile of the Lowlands.

A unique and modern interpretation of whisky, in which classic Scottish distillation and French wine influences elegantly enhance each other.
